The Griffin (Broogen)

The Griffin is a high-quality inn and restaurant situated in the Noble district of the city of Broogen in Thorast.

"The Griffin" is a fully licensed user of the Imperial Griffin symbol for which it pays the Empire (via the Registry) an annual sum in additional to the usual taxes.

Rooms at the Griffin start at a very reasonable (but relatively expensive) 16 unari a night for a single room, all the way up to 2 centari a night for one of their suites. The Griffin has 6 single rooms, 4 double rooms and 2 (2-person) suites and so can easily accommodate up to 18 visitors in a fair degree of luxury..

The Griffin also provides stabling for up to 10 horses. Stabling costs start at 1 denari a night but for 2 denari they will also provide grooming and re-shoeing (if needed).

Food and drink at the Griffin is best described as "Michelin-star" in terms of quality and price. An evening meal starts at 7 denari for relatively basic fare but can go up to well over 2 centari. Wine starts at 1 centari for a jug although their most expensive wine sells for 12 centari. The Griffin does NOT sell ale.
