An Imp is type of Fiend. Specifically it one of the lowest of the Devils. Imps are often considered nuisances and are used as pets by other, more powerful Devils. They are considered so weak that mortal Wizards, Sorcerers and Warlocks often have them as (usually very unwilling) familiars.
