Minotaurs

The Minotaurs of Oberon are large (2.0 - 2.2 m /7.0 feet tall) humanoids of great physical strength which makes them favoured choices of battlefield Commanders. However the Minotaur people as a whole are not a violent race and rarely use their physical size to their advantage.

Originally brought from their homeland of Minosha to Imperial lands by the armies of “The General” to act as “shock troops” they quickly proved to be wholly unsuitable and many “defected” to the Empire.

Religion

Minotaurs worship a deity known as “Gar-oo” who teaches that “servitude is divine” and so many Minotaurs can be found employed in service professions. Those that take to adventuring tend to end up as Clerics, Paladins or Warlords (the classes that act best as “support”).

Culture

The Minotaur language, "Minoshan" sounds to many other races like "moo-ing" due to its extended vowel usage. However, Minotaurs are quite capable of speaking human languages.
