Mulgreen
Location
North of the village of Stiks and about 12km west of Lake Viridian, nestled into a small valley in the Welcome Hills, is the village of Mulgreen. Although not on the main path through the Welcome Hills Mulgreen is a thriving farming community and a popular stop-over for travellers.
Population
Mulgreen has a relatively stable population of 400 people, which are mostly (60%) Humans. A further 25% are Dwarves, about 7% are Gnomes and the remaining 8% are Elves and Tieflings.
Description
Defences
Mulgreen's position, at the back of a small valley flanked by sharply rising hills, gives it a form of natural protection along it's northern half. It can only be safely approached by the singular road that comes up from the south. As such Mulgreen has no particular need for a village wall or gate.
It maintains a basic Town Watch consisting of a dozen men, most of whom have this as their 2nd job.
Inns and Taverns
Mulgreen is just big enough to support both an inn and a tavern.
