House Teresis

House Teresis is a relatively minor noble house of Bal-Morath.

Identity

House Teresis is geographically based on the south coast of Bal-Morath. It is almost entirely a Tiefling house, although there are still some branches of the family that are human.

Wealth

Teresis made its money a couple of centuries ago from pottery, notably amphoras, which are used to store and transport wine. At one point Teresis amphoras could be found right across Bal-Morath but competition from larger amphoras manufacturers from Dominus have impacted the fortunes of House Teresis of late. As a house it is far from broke but possesses nowhere near the level of capital that some of the houses do.

Politics

House Teresis is a politically neutral house. Although it would like to have more impact on the Council it doesn't possess the funds to reliably make this happen. It has found (along with the other 'neutral' houses) that it's best to stick to just maintaining it's amphora business and keeping out of high-level politics. The other houses know that House Teresis can be persuaded to vote for or against certain trade positions and will only ever seek their cooperation with those deals.
