The Porvalitar-Sciondorian School of Magicks
Established in 262 IE, the Porvalitar-Sciondorian School of Magicks was, for many years, a closely guarded secret, operating underneath the radar of The Cerulean Chancery. In fact, it would not be until the reign of the current Emperor (Ephestus) that this 'school' publicised its existence at all.
Initially started up as a way to extort money from wealthy noblemen AND to provide a safe haven for its founders, the school soon found itself with a number of very promising students and actually having to teach the arcane arts.
The initial teaching staff consisted of;
- Ralthangis Porvalitar - An exiled Grey Elf, specialising in deception; Headmaster
- Nathaniel Sciondorian - A somewhat befuddled Woof Elf; Bursar/teacher
- Boris Da Ax - A human who claimed that his mother of an Ogre; Negative role-model
This 'team' was assisted by;
- Tinya - the mother of Boris' son; Housekeeper
- Mylia - a small winged cat; Critic
This staffing level was fine until the school actually had some real students. After that point a few additional teachers had to be employed.
The school has moved a couple of times, mainly due to the students destroying large sections of whatever building they are in. Currently the school is located near the bard college of Cli, in the kingdom of Academia.
The school's other major claim to fame is that it has never had anything to do with The Cerulean Chancery. The Chancery, on the other hand, claims it's never heard of anyone graduating the school with any ability whatsoever!
