The Burning Man

This tavern is located in the south-eastern section of Wayfarer's Rest.

Run by "Old Man Constable" - a male Tiefling who isn't particularly old. The current Old Man Constable is at least the third owner of The Burning Man to take that name. Originally the tavern was the retirement plan of a much beloved captain of the Town Watch who was known locally as 'Old Man Constable'. The name has become synonymous with the tavern.

The Burning Man is considered to be a 'middle-of-the range' tavern and is staffed by about half-a-dozen people (including 2 'bouncers'). They sell a good range of beers including Winterhaven's Pride, Schrempf's Brown Ale, Shadowfell Stout and Hammer Hops. They sell these beers for 2, 3, 1 and 2 unari respectively (although few people willingly buy Winterhaven's Pride, other than for a bet).
