"The Coach and Pony" is one of only two inns located in the Dwarven town of Hammer Hold and is owned and run by Norrick Steelmantle, a cheerful Mountain Dwarf or about 200 years of age.
Locally referred to a "The Pony" this is the higher quality of the two inns in town and, as such, rooms are relatively pricey. A single room is 12 unari a night whilst a double room (two single beds) costs 2 denari a night. The Pony has a total of ten rooms: 4 single and 6 double and so can accommodate 16 travellers at a time. All ten rooms are clean and comfortable and come equipped with a washbowl and a chamber pot.
The Pony serves food all day, with a standard meal costing 7 unari.
A stable, holding up to 8 horses, is available for 3 unari per horse per day (with feed for 1 unari extra). The stable is large enough to hold a coach although rarely does so.
The Pony brews its own beer - Pony Pale Ale which is a pleasant but, by Dwarven standards, weak beer.
