This 'keep' is actually a moderate sized fort, situated in the eastern half of Kleinius Vale approx 45 kilometres north-east of Brindol, 20 kilometres west of Kalingarde, and just 8 kilometres south of Wayfarer's Rest.
The 'keep' (as it is known locally) is responsible for the safety of the roads, town and villages in it's immediate catchment area, which extends to a radius of about 35 kilometres. Hence it is also responsible for the defence of the nearby towns of Retreat and Winterhaven.
