Fort Inferno is situated about 50km north-east of Overlook and due east of the Fae Road. The fort gets its name from it's proximity to the Everburning Forest.
Fort Inferno is the home to the 2nd cohort of the 56th Legion and is responsible for the security of a region that extends from the port of Seaquen down to the town of Ash. Although Fort Inferno stands in a sparsely populated area it still has to protect this with a relatively small contingent of soldiers. Hence the actual fort is often only manned by a few dozen legionaries at a time; the rest being off on patrol.
