Between Chapters Three and Four of Oberon Campaign One the group travelled about 200 miles. The following summary was given:
"The Long and Winding Road to Nowhere"
22nd Decembus 343IC
- So that all the player characters can process the events of the previous session (and to stock up on rations and horse feed) they stay a night in the "Blessed Retreat" inn in Turvin.
23rd Decembus 343IC
- At Gnarvak’s insistence the group take the road to Larenfast in order to leave the Welcome Hills.
- As well as avoiding an entire level’s worth of plot in Hammer Hold, this path takes the group off into the wilderness, forcing them to camp out.
- Myles introduces the group to his new friend, a crow named "Dwolian".
22th Decembus 343IC
- Myles starts to complain about the weather but is, rightly, ignored.
25th Decembus 343IC
- Myles is now joined by Starr complaining about the weather.
- The group push on for a couple of long days despite the weather getting noticeably worse with increasing altitude.
- They go past Fort Basilisk.
26th Decembus 343IC
- Myles, Starr and now Scylla are regularly complaining about the weather.
- The group crosses into the region known as "the Amber Falls" and then the "Sunlit Highlands".
27th Decembus 343IC
- Titus joins in the complaints as he can now feel the cold through his armour.
- There is a thrilling encounter with a pack of wolves which occurs 'off-screen'. No one dies.
28th Decembus 343IC
- Now everyone is complaining about the weather, even Gnarvak.
- By mutual consent, the group decide that they will have to stop at the next town.
29th Decembus 343IC
- Group picks the nearby town of Kiessel to stop off at and resupply.
30th Decembus 343IC
- Party arrives at Kiessel.
31st Decembus 343IC
- Party still at Kiessel.
32nd Decembus 343IC
- Party still at Kiessel.
- Lennox gets really bored and picks a fight with a local. There's minimal bloodshed.
33rd Decembus 343IC
- A break in the weather enable the party to continue their journey.
34th Decembus 343IC
- With the Dwarf Road once again passable, the group follow the route into Grindivar.
35th Decembus 343IC
- The group passes through the town of Tüdesheim.
- Several NPCs try to offer them quests but all are flatly declined.
- The GM looks depressed at this but the party continue quickly into the Borstheim Plains.
36th Decembus 343IC
- The group ride through a couple of villages at the NW corner of the Borstheim Plains. They don’t stop as they can’t afford it.
- A group member points out a typo in the Adventure logs
- The GM reminds them that he is doing this for their benefit, not his, and if they were that concerned then they could bloody well write their own adventure log
- Despite this the GM continues to run games for a bunch of ungrateful little shits who are too lazy to even attempt to take notes
- The GM now has that rant out of his system and will continue with the log...
37th Decembus 343IC
- The group arrive in the Tolsberg Vale. They get work escorting a caravan to the town of Helmgard.
38th Decembus 343IC
- The party spend an uneventful day travelling to the town of Flenchen.
39th Decembus 343IC
- Nothing of interest happened on this day.
- Please move along and ignore the error in counting days.
Session 23: "The Strange Case of the Missing Graves"
40th Decembus 343IC
- The group reach the village of Blutroch - the village where Titus' parents were killed.
- Odd goings on were discovered including the graves of Titus' parents being missing.
- Various houses had been rebuilt with funds from the Cerulean Chancery.
- Rumours of caves underneath the village were said to be the cause of subsidence.
- Finally, the group arrive in the city of Broogen. There is much rejoicing!
- Titus books an appointment at the Registry for noon on the 52nd Decembus
