Before the formation of [[the Merebian Empire]], the lands of the continent that was to become [[Dominus]] was divided up by the rulers of nine great city states.

These city-states were:

*[[Dracos]]
*[[Greyhawk]]
*[[Karameizanté]]
*[[Specularum]]
*[[Isirpa]]
*[[Laiscal]]
*[[Ervaux]]
*[[Rolac]]

All of these still exist as cities to some degree but are now, of course, all under Imperial rule.
